Annelise Van Der Pol

Anneliese Louise van der Pol is a Dutch-born American actress and singer. She's known for both her theatrical work as well as for playing Chelsea Daniels in the Disney Channel show That's So Raven, and its sequel Raven's Home. Anneliese van der Pol has an ethnic Dutch background and is an American actress and performer best known for frequent appearances on the popular television show That's So Raven. She also acted as a character in Vampires Suck 2010, a vampire spoof written by Jason Friedberg. van der Pol landed a prominent role on Disney Channel Original Series That's So Raven as the ditzy Chelsea Daniels. Raven-Symone, Orlando Brown as well as Kyle Massey also appeared. Chelsea Daniels has remained one of Van der Poli's most popular roles among teenagers and adult audiences. Critics praised her ability to portray a character who was both charming but also a little dumb. Some initially thought that she was a flop due to her prior serious role. She performed as Heather in the show Kim Possible in 2006. It was her first ever voice-over. Van der Pol performed pop/R&B arrangements from The Lion King Circle of Life and Cinderella The Dream Is a Wish My Heart Makes, as part of The Disney Channel Circle of Stars. In 2006 she recorded an original cover of the iconic Disney song Candle on the Water from Pete's Dragon for an edition of Disneymania. She also recorded a number of songs from the stage production which included A Change in Me.
